Performance Anxiety

It’s that time of year again! The last few weeks before finals and juries. For those that don’t know, juries can be a music major’s worst nightmare. A jury piece is basically a solo that you have to perform at the end of the semester in front of a jury of professors/grad students. Your jury performance determines if you are allowed to continue with your music studies. Most people do just fine. However, there are horror stories out there of people bombing their jury piece. So, with that in mind, there is plenty of time to pull all-nighters from now until your jury. Good luck!
